Reserve CDD water: who supplies it, who bills you and what changes next

Reserve CDD is moving from bulk service toward direct St. Lucie West Services District retail accounts. The current guidance does not say that customer billing has already transferred.

The current arrangement

SLWSD’s integration https://www.slwsd.org/Customer-Service/News-Advisories-Notices/Reserve-CDD%E2%80%93SLWSD-Utility-Integration-Facts-FAQs says it has supplied 100% of Reserve CDD’s drinking water since 2025. Reserve continues customer billing during the transition. Rates aligned January 1, 2026; full retail integration is expected by the end of 2027, before the old agreement expires in November 2028. An expected completion date is not confirmation that the transfer is complete.

Which homes does this cover?

The Reserve CDD’s own fact sheet describes its approximately 4.1-square-mile service area west of I-95, including PGA Village customers, and lists 2,277 accounts. This does not establish that every PGA-named community is affected. PGA Village Verano has separate City utility evidence; confirm the name on your actual bill.

QuestionOfficial starting point
Who sends my bill now?Reserve CDD, until its announced transition is complete
Who supplies Reserve drinking water?St. Lucie West Services District
Which annual report should I open?Reserve CDD’s posted 2025 annual drinking-water report (Word file), plus the SLWSD supply report

The Reserve’s current website still provides its billing portal and utility contacts. Use those official channels for account instructions; this article is not a request to change payments or banking information.

Why are we covering this now?

Late detection: SLWSD published its initial announcement May 22, 2025. Florida Tap Report first added this explanation October 21, 2026. Earlier monitoring concentrated on emergency advisories and did not capture this integration. We have added the dedicated transition page to monitoring. The current https://www.slwsd.org/Customer-Service/News-Advisories-Notices/Reserve-CDD%E2%80%93SLWSD-Utility-Integration-Facts-FAQs has no visible publication time, so we cannot date its latest revision.

Does the transition mean I need filtration?

These transition documents do not issue a boil-water warning or establish contamination. A billing or supplier change alone does not establish a need for new treatment. For a specific concern, review the correct report, existing equipment and appropriate measurements; health questions require the relevant laboratory analysis.

Florida Premier can discuss treatment goals and existing equipment for serviceable St. Lucie County homes. Call 888-561-8736 or review the provider profile. Florida Tap Report and Florida Premier have common ownership. No purchase obligation.
